Aces To Double For Wu

Yake Wu limped the button, and Andrey Pateychuk shoved from the big blind. Wu called off instantly with pocket aces, and was way ahead of Pateychuk’s A8.
Pateychuk was able to flop an eight, but that’s all the help he got. Wu is now up to 4,600,000, while Pateychuk sits with 9,500,000.

Chris Klodnicki Eliminated In 4th Place ($182,595)

Yake Wu raised to 260,000 and Chris Klodnicki shoved from the big blind for about 1,400,000. Wu called with AJ, which had Klodnicki’s A7 dominated.
Klodnicki got a bit of a sweat with a flop of 652, but the 104 were no help to him and he was eliminated. Wu now leads with about 7,400,000.

Yake Wu Find Cooler Double Last Hand Before Break

Andrey Pateychuk raised to 200,000 on the button and Chris Klodnicki called from the small blind. Yake Wu then moved all in for 1,605,000, and Pateychuk tank folded.
Klodnicki snap called, however, holding AQ, which is of course a monster four-handed. Wu somehow held AK though, and the board ran out A9785 to give him a double right before the break.

Yake Wu Leaves Robert Heidorn Short

Robert Heidorn raised to 200,000 and was called by Yake Wu on the button and Andrey Pateychuk in the big blind.
The flop of K76 was checked around. The turn was the 6 and Heidorn bet 375,000. Wu called, and the river was the 9.
This time Heidorn bet 525,000. Wu then moved all in, and Heidorn groaned in disgust. After 30 seconds, he folded and saved his last 425,000.

Yake Wu Doubles Up

After blinding down to just a few big blinds along with Jerry Robinson, Yake Wu finally committed his stack with 65 after a raise from Andrey Pateychuk.
Pateychuk held pocket fours, and flopped a set on a KJ4 flop, but the turn and river fell 10Q to five Wu a flush and a double.
He’s still short, but he now has some distance between himself and Robinson, who has just three big blinds left.

Yake Wu Doubles Through Fabian Gumz

Yake Wu moved all in from the hijack for 805,000 and Fabian Gumz thought for a minute in the cutoff before calling. Everybody else quickly got out of the way.
Gumz showed AK[[suit:club] and was in a dominating spot against Wu’s AQ.
The flop changed that, however, as it came KJ10, giving Wu Broadway. The turn was the 5 and the river was the 8. Wu doubled up with the nut straight and Gumz became the short stack.

On a flop of 855, Jerry Robinson led out for 155,000 from the big blind and Yake Wu called from under the gun.
They both checked the 3 turn and the J came on the river. Robinson checked again and Wu bet 330,000. Robinson thought for a few moments before folding. Wu mucked his hand and took the pot, keeping his chip lead in tact.
