Day Two OverJun 20, '07 The long and grueling heads up match between Vanessa Selbst and Paul Wasicka has come to an end. Selbst had a clear chip advantage over Wasicka heading into what would be the final hand of the evening. After a flop of K-5-3 Wasicka checked. Selbst bet out. Wasicka check raised to $30,000 and Selbst didn't hesitate to reraise to $85,000. Wasicka thought for a moment before coming back over the top all in for has last $200,000. Selbst made the call and was holding 5-3 for the flopped two pair. Wasicka had K-Q for only top pair. The turn was a six and the river was a nine, giving no help to Wasicka. Vanessa Selbst advanced to day three and effectively ended play for the night.Play will resume tomorrow at 2 p.m. with these final four match ups. Wahlroos pushed all in preflop for his last $40,000 with A-10. Sarrafzadeh called and showed A-6. The board came 6-4-2-8-7, Sarrafzadeh paired his six and finally eliminated Thomas Wahlroos. Paul Wasicka and Vanessa Selbst have been trading chips all level and it would be foolish to count either one of them out. Wasicka was down to just over $100,000 before doubling up to stay alive. Following a flop of 10-7-2 Wasicka bet out. Selbst raised and Wasicka reraised all in. Selbst made the call and showed A 2. Wasicka showed Q 10 and was in the lead. The turn was a two and Selbst took the lead away from Wasicka with a set of twos. Wasicka got up to leave the table when the dealer put out the miracle ten on the river to fill Wasicka's boat. Mark Muchnik was clearly disgusted with the way the first match was play and he decided to display some serious firepower. With the blinds still $10,000-$20,000 Muchnik blasted a $300,000 raise across Schreiber's bow putting him on notice, there would be no more weak tight play. Muchnik pulled out all the stops including a few limp reraises on the button. It was one of those moves however, that eventually ended up sinking Muchnik on the decisive hand. Muchnik limped on the button and Schreiber put out his standard raise of $50,000. Muchnik reraised to $400,000 and Schreiber made the call. The flop came J83, and Muchnik moved all in and Schreiber called for all of his chips. Schreiber tabled K9 for the flush draw, but Schreiber had the made had at the time with QJ. The next two cards were the 3A, shipping Schreiber almost all the chips and crippling Muchnik. He was eliminated on the next hand when he failed to improve with Q8 against Schreiber's K2. Muchnik takes home $230,300 for his efforts.
