Sass has made several high-profile final tables, but his first televised final table came at the World Poker Tour Turks and Caicos Poker Classic championship. He finished third and took home $125,000. The biggest cash of his career came when finished second at the 2006 World Series of Poker in a $5,000 pot-limit hold'em event, good for $284,256. He bested that finish in 2007 by placing fourth in the $2,500 no-limit hold?em six-handed event. He also won a $3,000 no-limit hold'em event at the 2007 Wynn Classic.
