David Brookshire Rivers Another Straight, Busts Dan Heimiller

David Brookshire got most of his chips when his pocket sevens beat Phil Laak’s pocket tens with a straight on the river. He then got all of Dan Heimiller’s chips in almost the exact same way.
This time, Brookshire held pocket eights with an open-ended straight draw against the pocket aces of Heimiller. Heimiller needed to avoid ten outs on the river, but the straight got there to crack his aces and send him to the rail. Brookshire now leads the field with 200,000 in chips.
