10. She hit a ten and faded Silvestri’s overcards to secure the pot and send him to the rail.

Richard Velasco Gets Three Streets of Value

Richard Velasco bet 3,000 out of the big blind on a flop of 943 and was called by Mario Silvestri from the cutoff. The turn was the 7 and Velasco bet 5,000. Silvestri called again and they watched the dealer peel off the K on the river.
Velasco bet 5,000 and Silvestri went into the tank for a few minutes before tossing in a call. Velasco tabled 55 and Silvestri stood up out of his chair, looked at his cards and then mucked his hand.
Velasco scooped the pot and chipped up to 55,000 while Silvestri slipped to 51,000.

Mario Silvestri raised to 1,000 under-the-gun and was called by both of the blinds. The flop was J108 and the small blind led out for 1,000. The big blind folded and Silvestri took a long look at the small blind’s remaining stack before raising to 3,000.
The small blind quickly called and the turn was the 5. The small blind checked and Silvestri asked how many 5,000 denomination chips the small blind had in his stack. After gauging that the small blind had approximately 10,000 chips remaining, Silvestri announced he was all in and the small blind quickly folded his hand. He is hovering around his original 20,000 chip starting stack.

Pwnasaurus Takes It Down

Mario “Pwnasaurus” Silvestri has over $1.6 million in tournament earnings, and is looking to add to that total here in the $500,000 guaranteed CPPT Choctaw main event.
He entered the field a bit late, but looks to be right in his comfort zone already. We recently caught a hand were the player in the cutoff raised to 525 and got called by the button, only to have Silvestri raise to 1,425 out of the big blind. His three bet was enough to earn him two quick folds from his opponents and he raked in the pot without contest.

Mario Silvestri Sets Up Terry Presley

Mario Silvestri had apparently bet every street of an 875K3 board according to a tablemate. We arrived to see his final bet: his entire stack of roughly 40,000.
Terry Presley went into the tank and eventually decided to call, only to quickly muck when Silvestri rolled over the 55 for a flopped set. Presley was left crippled while Silvestri climbed to over 120,000.

Silvestri's Shove Gets Through

After an early position limp, Mario Silvestri raised to 525. The small blind called and the big blind three-bet to 1,425. The limper folded, Silvestri called and the small blind called as well.
The flop was Q104 and the small blind checked before the big blind bet 2,200. Silvestri played with his chips for a few moments before pushing his whole stack forward and announcing that he was all in. The small blind folded and the big blind asked for a count.
The dealer verified that Silvestri was all in for 9,350 and the big blind took a few moments before releasing his hand. Silvestri busted late on Day 1A and is on his second bullet of the event as he sits with 14,500 in chips.

Zazay instantly called and flipped up the KK. Silvestri was behind with the AJ and never caught up when the board ran out 96442.
Silvestri was sent to the rail in seventh place, earning $27,262 for his deep run.
