Andreas Walnum Bio
Born in Bodo, Norway, Andreas Walnum found a passion for competition at a young age. From age 11 to 18, he played pool, but started searching for another outlet that would satisfy his gambling instinct. He began playing poker and honed his game online. As his confidence, bankroll, and talent grew, Walnum took his game to bigger stakes and started playing large-buy-in tournaments. He won the 2006 World Poker Tour Festa Al Lago Championship for just over $1 million.
