Jim Bechtel won the World Series of Poker main event in 1993 to take home $1 million. He has consistently performed well at the World Series since winning the world championship, and in 2006 he made one of the greatest final tables of all time at the inaugural $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. world championship. He finished in fourth place to take home $549,120 in prize money.
