Gladys Landegger Doubles Through Huy Lam

After a preflop raising war between Huy Lam from under the gun and Gladys Landegger on the button, both players ended up putting in 100,000 preflop.

The flop fell Q74 and Lam bet 80,000. Landegger took her time to count out her stack, and then moved all 130,000 or so of it in the middle.

Lam made the quick call with AA, but Landegger’s QQ was best with top set. The turn and river came JJ and Landegger double up to about 470,000. Lam still has roughly 300,000.

Weisner Dips, Landegger Rises

Gladys Landegger raised to 750 from under-the-gun and action folded around to Melanie Weisner in the big blind.

Weisner called and then checked when the flop came 41010. Landegger bet 1,300, Weisner called and a 3 came on the turn.

Weisner checked again and Landegger upped the bet to 3,000. Weisner called and an 8 completed the board.

This time both players checked and Landegger took down the pot with 77 after Weisner showed Q4.

Weisner dipped to about 14,000 while Landegger rose to about average.
