Event No. 21 Begins at 5 p.m. on TuesdayJun 09, '09 Event No. 21 ($3,000 H.O.R.S.E.) will begin at 5 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, June 9. Players will begin with 9,000 in tournament chips. Levels will be 60-minutes long and there will be a 20-minute break after every two levels. There will be a 60-minute dinner break after level 4 on day 1. Limit hold’em, Omaha eight-or-better, razz, seven-card stud, and seven-card stud eight-or-better will be spread during the tournament and the game will change every eight hands. Jens Voertmann Wins Event No. 22Jun 13, '08 Jens Voertmann Wins Event No. 22 ($298,253) - Stud 8 After being crippled in an earlier Stud hand, Doug Ganger was forced to get it all in holding a board of 8899AK3. Jens Voertmann made the all in call on fourth street, and his board eventually ran out 557AJJ, giving him a better two pair. Ganger was eliminated in second place, earning $182,822 for his runner up finish.

Voertmann's board read J9A78AK for a pair of aces, and Luske's board read 959Q4J. Luske needed to hit any one of his board cards to stay alive, but after squeezing it out, he mucked his hand. The flop came KJ4 and Luske continued with a bet. Ganger folded and Voertmann check raised. Luske reraised and Voertmann called. The turn was the 5 and once again Luske bet. Voertmann folded and Luske showed his Q6 for a total bluff. After the hand, Luske chipped up to 700,000.
Marcel Luske made a drastic comeback during the hold'em round, and is no longer the short stack. The rail is pulling for him to take it down, but there's still a long way to go in this one. Luske showed A9 for top pair, and Corkins was left praying for paint with KQ. The turn and river came A3, and Corkins was eliminated in third place.
Marcel Luske lost a big chunk of his stack with a heart flush against Doug Ganger's full house. Neither played had a low and Ganger scooped the pot.

Both players checked the 10646 board to the turn and the river was the 2. Ganger fired in a bet and Zolotow made the call with AQ. Ace high was good, and Zolotow chipped up to 180,000.
Marcel Luske raised preflop and Doug Ganger made the call. The flop came down K104 and Luske checked. Ganger bet and Luske check raised. Ganger called and the turn was the 6. Luske bet again, and Ganger called. The river was the 8 and Luske checked. Ganger bet and Luske quickly called. Luske showed AA310 for aces with an A-3 low, and Ganger showed A3J9 for the nut flush with an A-3 low. Ganger collected three quarters of the pot. NOTE: The players then took a 15-minute break.
Steve Zolotow was all in on fourth street against Hoyt Corkins, two cards later, Zolotow's pair of nines were drawing dead to Corkins nut spade flush. Zolotow was eliminated in sixth place.
Jared Davis was on the short stack and desperate as he made a move with a pair of sixes, unfortunately for him, Jens Voertmann made a set of aces to eliminate him in fifth place.

Ganger held a six low and a pair of fives for high, but Harman couldn't get anything positive out of her seventh street squeeze. After the hand, Harman was the short stack with just 100,000.
On a flop of 1052, Marcel Luske bet and was called by Hoyt Corkins. The turn was the 10 and both players checked. The river was the K and Luske bet once again. Corkins called and mucked his cards after seeing the K9 of Luske. After the hand, Luske had chipped up to nearly 600,000 and regained the chip lead.
Doug Ganger completed wth a 3 and Jennifer Harman called with a 6 in the door. Ganger continued to bet his hand all the way down to the river and Harman decided to go with hers. Harman didn't show her hand, but it appeared as though she made an 8-low. Ganger, however, turned over 7-5-4-3-2 to send her to the rail in eighth place.
Ross Tsodikov was forced to get it all in with a pair of nines, but Jens Voertmann made queens up to send him home in seventh place. NOTE: Shortly after Tsodikov's elimination, the players took a 30-minute dinner break. Davis failed to hit either and Zimbler scooped the pot to double up to about 90,000.
Todd Brunson was all in against Marcel Luske on a flop of K7Q. Brunson showed A10 but was up against the K9. The turn was the K and the river was the 2, giving Luske the pot and eliminating Brunson in 12th place.
After being previously crippled in a Stud 8 hand with Jennifer Harman, Eric Froehlich was all in holding 98 against the J9 of Jared Davis. The board ran out K4J35 and Froehlich was eliminated in 11th place.
Blair Rodman moved all in on the short stack holding 97 against Jens Voertmann's pocket queens. The board ran out 1052102 and Rodman hit the rail in tenth place. Paul Zimbler Eliminated in 9th Place ($25,138) - Omaha 8 Paul Zimbler was short stacked and all in holding K1087 against the J1043 of Jennifer Harman. The flop came Q55 and Zimbler maintained his lead with King high. The turn was the 5 and Harman was really drawing slim to pair up wihout hitting a club. The river was the... J!
