Seniors Event Rolls On

The seniors event has completed level three of play and there are still well over 1,400 players remaining. The estimated field is around 1,900 which would make this year's event the largest seniors event in history. Amarillo Slim is the current chip leader and Tom McEvoy isn't far behind. John Gale has been eliminated from today's event and 2005 Seniors Event winner William "Paul" McKinney has been sighted in the field.
European contenders include recent bracelet winner Alan Smurfit ($3,150), Padraig Parkinson ($2,800) and Mickey Wernick ($1,300).
