Poker was just a hobby to Jeff "yellowsub86" Williams. At least, that’s all it could be while working at a Chick-fil-A fast food restaurant. But the hobby quickly turned into a passion, and the passion quickly led to heavy pockets. Then, in 2006, a $41 satellite launched him into stardom when he took down the EPT Championship in Monte Carlo for more than $1 million. He has won hundreds of thousands in online tournaments, but has said on record that his cash-game winnings dwarf that amount.
Despite his enormous amount of success, the level-headed Williams stayed in school at the University of Georgia and invested his winnings, stating that “there is more to life than just cards.”
