Chris Bell learned to play poker from his brother in high school. It continued to be a hobby throughout college at North Carolina State where he received a degree in business. After a few years working as a realtor, Bell decided to become a professional poker player in 2002.
He has cashed in multiple World Poker Tour events and made one final table. At the 2005 Mirage Poker Showdown he came in third at the televised final table to take home $314,280. In 2008, he finished runner-up in a $2,000 pot-limit hold'em event at the World Series of Poker to add another $155,805 to his career winnings.
