The long and grueling heads up match between Vanessa Selbst and Paul Wasicka has come to an end. Selbst had a clear chip advantage over Wasicka heading into what would be the final hand of the evening. After a flop of K-5-3 Wasicka checked. Selbst bet out. Wasicka check raised to $30,000 and Selbst didn't hesitate to reraise to $85,000. Wasicka thought for a moment before coming back over the top all in for has last $200,000. Selbst made the call and was holding 5-3 for the flopped two pair. Wasicka had K-Q for only top pair. The turn was a six and the river was a nine, giving no help to Wasicka. Vanessa Selbst advanced to day three and effectively ended play for the night.
Play will resume tomorrow at 2 p.m. with these final four match ups.

The field has narrowed to two final heads up matches. Vanessa Selbst and Paul Wasicka are still locked in a grueling battle, as well as Jason Glass and Keith Block. Toto Leonidas, Jared Davis, Shannon Shorr, Daniel Schrieber, Mark Muchnik and Steve Sarrafzadeh are all advancing to day three of this Heads Up tournament.
Thomas Wahlroos was eliminated in 14th place after being short stacked to Steve Sarrafzadeh. Wahlroos pushed all in preflop for his last $40,000 with A-10. Sarrafzadeh called and showed A-6. The board came 6-4-2-8-7, Sarrafzadeh paired his six and finally eliminated Thomas Wahlroos.
Paul Wasicka and Vanessa Selbst have been trading chips all level and it would be foolish to count either one of them out. Wasicka was down to just over $100,000 before doubling up to stay alive. Following a flop of 10-7-2 Wasicka bet out. Selbst raised and Wasicka reraised all in. Selbst made the call and showed A

and was in the lead. The turn was a two and Selbst took the lead away from Wasicka with a set of twos. Wasicka got up to leave the table when the dealer put out the miracle ten on the river to fill Wasicka's boat. Wasicka doubled up to over $200,000 and sat back down ready to play some more heads up poker.
Carmel Petresco was all in preflop with pocket aces against Shannon Shorr's pocket kings, one of which was the K
. Four straight hearts peeled off the deck for Shorr and Petresco wasn't holding the A
. Shorr had Petresco covered and advanced to the final day of heads up play.
