There are 14 players remaining and day two is just five eliminations away from being over. The most recent eliminations are as follows:
17th Place - Phillip Motsinger ($25,785)
With the flop showing J
8
6
Motsinger checks to his opponent, John Kranyak. Kranyak bets out $200,000 and Motsinger calls, pushing all in. Kranyak was holding A-K and Motsinger called with Q-J, good for top pair. The turn deflated Motsinger's hopes when the dealer put out the A
. The river was a two and Motsinger was eliminated in 17th place.
16th Place - Joshua Van Duyn ($25,785)
Van Duyn was all in before the flop up against Ernie Crespo. Van Duyn had J-10 and Crespo was holding A-8. Crespo paired his eight on the flop and Van Duyn never improved, busting out in 16th place.
15th Place - Shane Stacey ($29,577)
Following a preflop raise from the chip leader, Robert Cheung, Ernie Crespo smooth called. Shane Stacey reraised all in for $200,000 and forced Cheung to fold. Crespo made the call with A-Q and Stacey had pushed with K-Q. The board came J-5-2-10-10 and Crespo's ace won him the pot and allowing him to eliminate another player at his table.
