There are only 40 players left in event #52 and at the rate players are busting the final table appears to not be too far in the distance. Chad "lilholdem" Batista is the dominant chip leader in the field and shows no signs of slowing down. Batista's $700,000 chip stack is almost $300,000 ahead of the next largest chip stack.
Batista stayed in the fast lane throughout the entire last level and added yet another elimination to his impressive run for the final table. This time the victim was Raul Lozano. Batista raised preflop and Lozano called. The flop came 10-6-2 rainbow and Batista bet out again. Lozano pushed all in and Batista immediately called. Lozano showed 8-6 for middle pair and Batisata was in the lead with Q-10. The turn was an ace and the river brought a queen and Batista added another victim's chips to his stack.
J.C. Tran was eliminated in 46th place, earning $9,680. Tran was eliminated when his pocket sevens ran into an opponent's pocket jacks and he failed to improve.
