Daan Ruiter Eliminated; Martin Hansen Chip Leader
Mar 12, '09
Simply put the action went like this: Daan Ruiter on the small blind raised, Martin Hansen reraised, Ruiter pushed all in and Hansen called.
Ruiter showed AK and Hansen revealed A-J. The first card brought a gift for Ruiter but that gift just wasn't good enough: K-10-6-Q-X and the Dutch man who had been doing so well among chip leaders was astoundingly put out of the tournament.
Dane Martin Hansen now steps up to the plate as the chip leader with at least 300,000.

Martin Hansen Eliminated
Mar 13, '09
Martin Hansen is all in from middle position with 40,000 in chips.
Moritz Kranich calls from the button, as does Johan Percivall from early position.
The board falls K103 and both remaining players appear warey. They both have quite nice stacks. They check it out.
The turn is the J and they check once again.
The river is the 4 and Percivall says, "I'm all in." Kranich folds and the cards are shown.
Percivall: AQ and Martin Hansen: A-2
Hansen had a roller coaster ride between today and yesterday and at one point he was even chip leader, but now he leaves his dreams in the dust as he makes his exit so close to the final table, but yet so far away.
