Carmosino recently took his seat here at bestbet Jacksonville, and is looking to make his third final table in a row on the CPPT. The New York-native who now resides in Colorado first caught our attention in February at the CPPT Golden Gates main event in Blackhawk. Carmosino finished second out of a field of 456, earning a $33,339 payday. Last week, Carmosino showed up to the CPPT Choctaw main event, and after navigating his way through a field of 1,086 players, he earned $50,533 for his fifth-place finish. Can Carmosino make it three final tables in a row? Player Tags: Alexander Carmosino |

Alex Carmosino Busts A PlayerApr 21, '18 T.J. Cloutier opened for 12,000 under the gun, and his two opponents directly to his left called, one of which was Alex Carmosino. Everyone else folded. The flop fell K84, and everyone checked. The turn brought the 9. Cloutier checked again, and the player directly to his left bet 15,000. Carmosino quickly called. Cloutier double checked his cards and then folded. The river brought the 10, and Carmosino’s opponent moved all in for 39,500. Carmosino was sitting on a big stack, so if he called and was wrong he still would have been in great shape heading into day 2. Carmosino went into the tank and eventually announced that he was calling. He tabled the K5, and his opponent tried mucking without showing. The dealer informed him that he had to show, and he flipped over A-9 off suit for third pair. Carmosino raked in the pot to grow his stack to 525,000. Cloutier bemoaned the fact that his UTG open was called by A-9 and K-5. It was on Ryan White in middle position, and he made the call after about a minute of deliberation. It then was over to the monster stack of Alex Carmosino, and he re-raised to 225,000. Another player in the hand folded, and it was back on White. He made the call, leaving himself with only 37,000 behind. Three players were off to see a turn card, with Royman all in and White basically all in. Their cards: Royman: 98 White was in the lead with a pair of kings, but Carmosino had a pair and a flush draw, so he was drawing very live. Royman needed some help, but he did have an open-ended straight draw. Royman just couldn’t use a club to make his straight. The turn brought the 8, giving Carmosino two pair. He was now out in front and poised to score a double elimination. However, the J on the river put a pair of jacks on the board, counterfeiting Carmosino’s hand and giving the entire pot to White. Royman was eliminated in 51st place. Player Tags: Alexander Carmosino, Ryan White, Jason Royman Some Chip Counts From The FieldApr 22, '18 Here’s a look at some chip counts from the field.
