A former software analyst from Stockton, California, Hafiz Khan turned poker pro in 2008. He is mainly an online player, and got his big break when he qualified for the 2008 European Poker Tour PokerStars.com Caribbean Adventure. He came in runner up to take home almost $1.1 million.
He finished in 21st place the following year at the PCA and booked his first tournament win at a large preliminary event at the 2009 L.A. Poker Classic. Khan won a $5,000 no-limit hold'em event to take home $285,569.
