Bill Ross Eliminated in 10th Place ($2,857))
Mar 24, '13
With the blinds at 3,000-6,000 with a 1,000 ante, Bill Ross raised all in preflop for 1,000 under the gun and Jerry Morrell reraised to 13,000 from middle position. Everyone else folded and the two players flipped over their cards.
Ross: 104
Morrell: AQ
Board: Q946A
Morrell won the hand and he ends the night with 500,000. Ross was eliminated in 10th place and he takes home $2,857 in prize money. He got a round of applause from his opponents and spectators as he exited the tournament area. His elimination was one of the most unusual processes we have seen on the Card Player Poker Tour, or any other tour for that matter.
