Josh 'JJProdigy' Field Makes a Big Call
Apr 13, '08
Sorel Mizzi played on day 1A yesterday, but he's been sweating players on the tournament floor all day today. Mizzi snagged Card Player to relate a hand by notable Internet pro Josh "JJProdigy" Field. Mizzi explained:
A player in early position raised to 900 and Field called in the big blind. The flop came J-9-5 with two diamonds, and Field checked. The raiser bet 1,000, and Field called. The turn was an off suit 4, and Field again checked. The raiser bet 2,500, and Field again called. The river was the 10 and Field checked once again. The raiser bet 7,000, and Field called almost instantly, showing pocket eights, for fourth pair on a board with numerous straight and flush possibilities. The eights were good enough to take the pot. Field currently has about 20,000.

Internet Pros Busting in Droves
Apr 14, '08
Josh "JJProdigy" Field, Richard "RonaldKosh" Fohrenback, and Shaun "ShaunDeeb" Deeb have all busted from the PokerStars.com EPT Grand Final.
When Deeb's table was asked how he busted, Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron started to explain, and Neil Channing cut in, "If you try to make a list of how he lost all of his chips, you'll never remember it."
Baron smiled sheepishly and added, "He had a rough day. He's a good player."
Channing turned to the player to his right and said, "Everyone online is a good player."
