Big Hands:
Rome is Burning, Crain Gone
Daniel Rome is playing hot right now. While reaching to put in a raise, Eric Crain told Rome he would give him a hug if he folded. Seeing that Rome was still reaching, Crain changed his tune and told him he'd give him a huge if he raised. The offer didn't work and Rome raised to 65,000. Action folded to Crain who looked down at his cards and announced he was all in. Rome called and showed A3 and was trailing Crain's 55. But Rome hit the flop of A-Q-Q and the river 2 and king couldn't save Crain from elimination.
Shelton Gets Some Luck, Then Runs Into Gerasimov's Jacks
All in and called, Kenneth Shelton showed K10 and was in a flip situation against Eric Crain's 55. RIght out the door was the 5 so things didn't look good for Shelton. The flop finished with 43, and Shelton could catch no cards to win the pot. But he could have runners to chop it. The turn was the 7. Shelton was counting his chips to give them to Crain and not even looking at the board when the 6 hit on the river. The table's reaction made Shelton look at the straight on the board, and he couldn't help but laugh as they chopped the pot.
A few hands later Shelton moved all in and Kirill Gerasimov called from the big blind. Shelton hoped for a coin flip but his 66 was in bad shape against Gerasimov's JJ. The board ran J852A and Shelton was left crippled whiel Gerasimov doubled up.
Shelton Eliminated
Marco Johnson raised to 61,000 and Kirill Gerasimov raised to 180,000 total. A crippled Kenneth Shelton pushed his remaining chips in and Johnson mucked his hand, leaving Gerasimov and Shelton heads up. Gerasimov showed A10 and Shelton showed J5. The board ran K4428 and Shelton was eliminated thanks to Gerasimov's ace-high.

Dan Rome Eliminated in 9th Place ($71,687)
Without any action in front of him, Dan Rome moved all in from the small blind for 475,000 and Ryan D’Angelo called from the big blind.
Rome: 54
D’Angelo: AA
Board: KKQ42
What a spot for Ryan D’Angelo to wake up with aces. Dan Rome was drastically behind D’Angelo heading to the flop, and without any help from the board Dan Rome was the first to fall, eliminated in 9th place ($71,687).
D’Angelo Takes a Big Pot Off of Costner
Ryan D’Angelo completed from the small blind and Gabe Costner checked his option from the big blind. The flop came 762, D’Angelo bet 80,000 and Costner called. The turn was the Q and this time both players checked. The river was the K, and D’Angelo bet 200,000. Costener tanked for a minute or so before calling. D’Angelo turned over 109 for the flopped flush while Costner showed K6 for two pair on the river. D’Angelo moved up to 1.3 million after this hand while Costner fell down to just over 300,000.
