The turn was the 9 and Sung checked. Delong bet 2,000 and Sung called. The river was the J and once again, both players checked.
Sung showed A7 for ace high, but Delong’s 98 was enough to take down the pot. Delong now has 30,000 while Sung sits with 23,000.

Mark Newhouse Busts Jonathan Delong

Jonathan Delong had a miserable day here at the Venetian, losing a big pot to Jason Manger in level 2 to be left with a short stack.
He finally got his last 15 or so big blinds in with A-K, only to run into the pocket aces of Mark Newhouse. The aces held and Delong hit the rail. Newhouse is now sitting with his starting stack of about 25,000.
