Quentin Crossley Doubles Through Chan Pelton

Chan Pelton raised to 4,700 from early position and Quentin Crossley defended his big blind. The flop was 886 and Crossley moved all in for about 25,000, which sent Pelton into the tank.
“Will you show me if I fold?” asked Pelton.
Crossley didn’t respond and merely shrugged his shoulders. Pelton then asked the dealer how many grey, 5,000 denomination chips were in his stack and he was informed that there were none and they were all purple, 500 denomination chips.
Pelton called and the hands were tabled. Pelton was ahead with his A10 and needed to fade a few cards against Crossley’s K2.
“Yahtzee baby,” yelled Crossley as the dealer peeled the 3 on the turn, leaving Pelton drawing dead. “Ship the sherbert to the fat kid.”
“I thought those were all big chips,” said Pelton. “I would have called faster.”
Crossley doubled up to 60,000, while Pelton dropped to 30,000.

Chan Pelton Falls to Ted Gillis

We arrived on the scene to see Chan Pelton and Ted Gillis looking down at a board of 9J310. Gillis announced an all in bet and Pelton called for his own tournament life of what looked to be roughly 140,000.

Gillis was out in front with his turned straight and Pelton was looking to turn his two pair into a full house on the river in order to stay alive. Alas, the river brought no help to Pelton as it was the meaningless 4. Pelton was eliminated in 28th place and Gillis boosted his stack to about 860,000.

Pelton's Trips Leaves Sengphet Crippled

La Sengphet checked from the big blind and Chan Pelton bet 29,000 from the button on the river with the board reading J104K4.
Sengphet took a few moments before pushing forward a call and Pelton tabled 43. Sengphet mucked her hand and was left with 90,000 in chips.
Pelton, on the other hand, has been steadily climbing and chipped up to over 300,000.

Orlando Romero Eliminated by Chan Pelton

Chan Pelton raised to 20,000 from the cutoff only to have Orlando Romero three-bet to 82,00- from the button. The blinds folded back to Pelton and he moved all in over the top. Romerto called for his own tournament life of approximately 120,000 and the hands were turned over.

Pelton was in a commanding position with his pair of aces and he held up through the 3Q486 run out. Romero hit the rail and Pelton increased his stack to about 275,000.

Chan Pelton Eliminates Jace Chandler

Jace Chandler moved all in for 58,000 from the cutoff and Chan Pelton called from the big blind.
Chandler was in need of some help with his K6 against Pelton’s A8. The flop put Chandler in the lead as the dealer spread a board of KJ3, but the A on the turn put Pelton back in front. The river was the 4 and Chandler was eliminated in the middle stages of Day 2.
Pelton is up to 190,000 in chips.

Chan Pelton Wearing Out the Felt

Action folded to Chan Pelton in the cutoff, who moved all in for 102,000. La Sengphet folded on the button and Jace Chandler called off his last 44,000 from the big blind.
“You got anything?” asked Pelton as he tabled 88.
“Nope,” replied Chandler as he showed AQ.
The board ran out Q10225 and Chandler doubled up to 97,000, leaving Pelton with just under 60,000.
A few hands later, Justin Gardenhire raised to 12,000 from early position and Pelton called from middle position. Action folded to the big blind, who moved all in and Pelton quickly called off the rest of his stack.
The big blind showed QQ and was behind Pelton’s KK. The board ran out J9932 and Pelton doubled up to 135,000.

We didn’t catch the hand but can confirm that 2015 Card Player Poker Tour Choctaw main event champion Chan Pelton has been eliminated in 25th place, taking home $6,152 for his deep run.
From under the gun a player raised to 5,500 and the player directly to his left made the call.

Fadi Massaad opened to 75,000 from the hijack seat and Lynn Samples moved all-in from the small blind. Chan Pelton instantly asked for a count from the big blind and Samples said she had about 410,000. Pelton moved all-in over the top to isolate and Massaad folded.
