Viatcheslav Ortynskiy called on the big blind and Mark Klecan raised. Rep Porter called and Ortynskiy reraised. Klecan called all in for 42,000 and Porter also called. The flop was dealt K74. Porter checked and Ortynskiy bet. Porter called and the 4 fell on the turn. Both live players checked and the river brought the 3.

Ortynskiy bet and Porter got out of the way. Ortynskiy revealed A653 and Klecan held AQ93. Ortynskiy had a straight to win the high and a seven-five low to scoop the other half. That left nothing for Klecan, who was eliminated in eighth place.

Scott Bohlman Doubles Through Viatcheslav Ortynskiy

Scott Bohlman got the last of his chips into the middle on fifth street during a hand of Razz against Viatcheslav Ortynskiy and he was ahead with a 10-9-7-4-3 when the money went in the middle. He improved to a 9-8-7-4-3 by the end of the hand, which was more than enough to beat Ortynskiy. Bohlman doubled to 210,000 and Ortynskiy was at 550,000.

Keikoan Tops Baker

David Baker raised from late position and Matt Keikoan three-bet from the small blind.

The flop was 3J7 and Keikoan bet and was called by Baker. Keikoan bet the turn and river as well when it came 7 and 3, being called by Baker each time.

Keikoan showed 66 and Baker mucked his hand. Baker slipped to 350,000 and Keikoan climbed to 540,000.

Chiu Doubles Through Ray

Kyle Ray and David Chiu got into a a raising war that led to Chiu getting all of his chips in the middle before the flop. Chiu showed KQ and was way behind Ray’s AK.

The board ran out QJJQ2, giving Chiu a full house and a the pot as he doubled up to 125,000. Ray fell to 385,000.

Mark Klecan Eliminated

Mark Klecan raised, Daniel Idema three-bet and Klecan four-bet all-in. Idema made the call and showed AQ and was up against Klecan’s A8.

The board came 1010472 giving the pot to Idema and Klecan was the first player eliminated on the final day. Klecan will take home $27,069 for his efforts.

Two Pair Works For Keikoan

Matt Keikoan raised from the small blind and Kyle Ray defended his big blind.

Keikoan fired all three streets as the board was A107J9 and was called down by Ray the whole way.

At showdown, Keikoan tabled the A7, good for aces up, while Ray showed a worse two pair as he flashed tens and nines before he tossed his cards into the muck.

Keikoan is up to 640,000 with the pot and Ray slipped to 540,000.

Mark Klecan raised to 24,000 and Daniel Alaei three-bet to 36,000. Ralph Perry then moved his entire stack into the middle and both opponents called. The flop came down 632 and Klecan bet 12,000. Alaei stuck around and the turn was the 4. Klecan bet 24,000 and Alaei let his hand go, leaving Klecan alone with Perry.

Klecan flopped top pair and had Perry on the ropes. The river was the K and Perry was ousted from the tournament.

Hawrilenko Makes Push Toward The Top

Michiel Brummelhuis raised to 24,000 preflop and Matt Hawrilenko made the call from the big blind. The flop came 887 and Hawrilenko led out for 12,000. Brummelhuis raised to 24,000 and Hawrilenko three-bet to 36,000. After Brummelhuis called the raise, the 6 showed up on the turn and things slowed down as both players checked. The 9 came on the river and Hawrilenko bet 24,000 and was called. He turned over 107 for the straight on the river and he took down the pot, improving his stack to 780,000.

Todd Brunson Rides Out Courtesy Of Ho

Soheil Shamseddin raised preflop to 24,000 and Todd Brunson called. Maria Ho then raised to 24,000 and both opponents called. The flop came K46 and Ho bet 12,000. Shamseddin got out of the way but Brunson raised to 24,000. Ho then repopped it to 36,000 and Brunson called all in.

Ho had the lead but Brunson had her heart draw covered. The turn was red, but not the suit Brunson wanted as it was the A. The J missed Brunson and he was eliminated. Ho was at 480,000

Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend

Jennifer Harman raised to 24,000 under the gun and Soheil Shamseddin made the call from the big blind. The flop came down Q83 and Harman bet 12,000. Shamseddin raised to 24,000 and Harman called. The turn was the A and Harman put the rest of her stack in the middle. Shamseddin made the call and Harman showed AK. She was in trouble though, as her opponent showed Q8 for two pair. Harman needed help and got it when the 4 gave her a flush. Harman doubled to 130,000 and she was very much alive after having one foot in the grave.
