Jerry Yang limped under the gun, as did the players under the gun +1 and under the gun +2. The button then raised to 525 and Christina Lindley reraised to 1,325.

The big blind folded and Yang reraised to 3,200. Everyone folded back to Lindley, who decided to make the call. The flop came down 6 6 2 and Lindley checked.

Yang fired in 4,400 and after about 30 seconds, Lindley said, “I think I’m supposed to stack off here, but I’m going to fold. I was set mining with pocket queens.”

Yang didn’t confirm whether her read was good or not, but he did tap the table while telling her he did have a big hand.

Yang now has 17,500, while Lindley is down to 10,400.

Christina Lindley and David Randall Arrive

A couple of poker pros who are also a couple just arrived to the tournament area here at CPPT Atlantis Reno. Christina Lindley (who cashed in 16th place for $16,063 at the recently completed CPPT Wynn Main Event) and David Randall (who made a deep run at CPPT Wynn) registered a few minutes ago. Lindley is seated at Jerry Yang’s table, making it the toughest table in the room early on Day 1B.

The dealer fans AJQ and all four players check to the turn. The turn is the 6 and Klann bets 3,700. Notkin calls, the cutoff folds and Lindley raises to 10,000. Klann folds and Notkin goes into the tank.

After much thought Notkin chooses to fold his hand and the pot is pushed to Lindley who is now up to about 32,000.

With six players looking at a flop of K93 action checked to Froehlich in middle position. Froehlich bet 500 and action folded to Christina Lindley in the small blind. Lindley called and Raymond Saide followed from under the gun. The turn was the A and Lindley and Saide both checked. Froehlich fired out a bet of 1,700 and Lindley and Saide released their hands.

Froehlich scooped the pot and is seated with about 24,000.
