Player Tags: Christina Lindley, John Miner Christina Lindley Takes a Bad BeatMar 23, '13 Christina Lindley just took a nasty beat when her A-K lost to the AK of an opponent who was all-in under the gun preflop. “At least I got my run bad for the tournament out of the way,” said Lindley after the hand. She is hanging in with 15,100. Player Tags: Christina Lindley A Look at the NotablesMar 23, '13 The biggest notables left in the tournament are Jerry Yang and Christina Lindley. Yang has doubled his starting stack so far but he is still below an average stack. Lindley is below 10,000, and she will be making a move soon to attempt to double up. Player Tags: Jerry Yang, Christina Lindley Jerry Yang Can't Get All Of Christina Lindley's ChipsMar 23, '13 Jerry Yang limped under the gun, as did the players under the gun +1 and under the gun +2. The button then raised to 525 and Christina Lindley reraised to 1,325. The big blind folded and Yang reraised to 3,200. Everyone folded back to Lindley, who decided to make the call. The flop came down 6 6 2 and Lindley checked. Yang fired in 4,400 and after about 30 seconds, Lindley said, “I think I’m supposed to stack off here, but I’m going to fold. I was set mining with pocket queens.” Yang didn’t confirm whether her read was good or not, but he did tap the table while telling her he did have a big hand. Yang now has 17,500, while Lindley is down to 10,400.
