Brandon Schaefer has had a rough go of it early on day 2. He lost a 100,000 pot when his aces were cracked by AK. He and his opponent got their money in on a flop that held two diamonds and then another came to drop Schaefer’s stack down to 87,000.

On a recent hand Schaefer bet 6,200 from the big blind with a board of J52J sitting on the table. Dren Ukella made the call from the cutoff and then both players checked the 4 on the river. Schaefer turned up the K, but Ukella turned over A10 to win the hand.
