Jason Manggunio Eliminated in 8th Place ($42,749)
Jason Manggunio open-shoved the button for 163,000, Eric Baldwin reraised to 312,000 from the small blind and Eric Davis folded the big blind.
Baldwin led before the flop with A8 against Manggunio’s A7.
The board came AK945, giving both players top pair on the flop, but Baldwin’s higher kicker played and he won the pot. Jason Manggunio was eliminated in 8th place ($42,749) while Baldwin moved up to just over 900,000.
Jean-Louis Santoni Eliminated in 7th Place ($56,453)
Jean-Louis Santoni opened the pot for 65,000 from under the gun, Noah Vaillancourt reraised to 135,000 from late position and Santoni called.
The flop came KJ4, Santoni checked, Vaillancourt bet 80,000, Santoni raised all in and Vaillancourt called the check-shove.
Santoni was all in for his tournament life and ahead on the flop with QJ for middle pair against Vaillancourt’s nut flush draw with A6.
The turn and river were the 3 and the A, giving Vaillancourt a flush to win the pot and eliminate Jean-Louis Santoni in 7th place ($56,453). Vaillancourt secured the chip lead that hand with about 3.2 million.

Eric Davis open-shoved the button for 235,000 and John Esposito called from the big blind.
Esposito led before the flop with A7 against Davis’ A5.
The board came 98352, giving Espositio a flush on the turn to win the pot and eliminate Eric Davis in 6th place. Esposito broke a million that hand, ending with just about 1.1 million in chips.
