The river was the 6 and Makowsky fired in 6,000. Assi thought about raising for a bit, but eventually just called. Makowsky mucked his cards, indicating he had been caught bluffing and Assi showed A2 for the rivered nut flush.
Makowsky was left with about 24,000 in chips, but Assi has the chip lead with 120,000.

A Lot Of Drama For A Very Small Pot

Belal Assi raised to 41,000 and Adam Shuman made the call. The flop fell J8
7 and both players checked.
The turn was the 4 and Assi checked, only to see Shuman bet 56,000. Assi took about a minute to make the call and the river was the 3.
Assi checked and Shuman bet 100,000. Assi then went into the tank, talking to Shuman and everyone else at the table. After four minutes, Eddy Mroczkowski called for the clock and Assi made the call. (Keep in mind, this is a 5 big blind bet into an 11 big blind pot)
Shuman showed 99 and Assi breathed an exagerated sigh of relief, flipping up AJ for top pair top kicker.
“You know the cameras aren’t until tomorrow, right?” asked Mroczkowski.
Assi didn’t respond, but has repeatedly taken an incredibly long amount of time for seemingly basic poker decisions. Needless to say, he is not a favorite among the rest of the final tablists.
At this point in the tournament, the average stack size is 510,000, or 25.5 big blinds.

A side pot was made and the flop was dealt A93. Leone checked, Assi bet 7,000 and Leone folded.
Assi tabled A10 and Prediletto had 72. The board completed Q8 and Prediletto was eliminated.

Assi folded his hand and Vandeven took the pot.
