Very Next Hand, Chris Lee Eliminates Marco Johnson
Apr 12, '08
The very next hand after eliminating an opponent with a rivered set of queens, Chris "Genius28" Lee was involved in another big pot. Lee raised preflop and was called by the player to his immediate left. Marco Johnson, two seats to Lee's left, reraised to 3,175. Both Lee and the other player called to see a flop of J 9 5. Lee led out with a bet of 5,000, folding the player between him and Johnson. Johnson called and the turn was the 5. Lee asked for a count from Johnson before deciding to bet 8,000. Johnson quickly pushed all in and Lee called and showed pocket aces. Johnson looked dismayed as he flipped over K J. An 8 came on the river, sealing Johnson's fate and sending him home. Lee now has a monster stack of about 86,000, making him the probable chip leader in the tournament.

Chris 'Genius28' Lee Wins a Big Pot
Apr 12, '08
Chris "Genius28" Lee open-raises to 1,000 preflop and Marco Johnson calls. The big blind raises to 3,750, and Chris Lee reraises, folding Johnson. The player in the big blind pushes all in, and Lee calls instantly, showing pocket queens. The big blind is in trouble with pocket tens. Trouble, that is, until the flop brought a 10 when it came 10 8 4. The turn was the 9 and the river the Q, putting Lee back in the lead with a set of queens to eliminate his opponent. After the hand, another player at the table told Lee, "Man, you didn't even flinch when the 10 hit." Lee replied, "I knew the queen was coming." Lee had 42,000 after the hand.
