Chad Brown Wins A Three-Way All In
Jun 25, '21
Four players took a flop of 874 and the player in the big blind checked before under the gun bet 1,500. Chad Brown called from the hijack and Raymond Leone raised to 6,000 on the button. The player in the big blind called and the under the gun player went into the tank.
Chris Conrad was in the small blind and having a conversation with a player on the other side of the table and Leone alerted him that a big pot was brewing once the big blind called.
“Pay attention,” said Leone as he pointed at the big blind’s call.
Eventually, the under the gun player called and then Brown moved all in for about 20,000. Leone moved all in for slightly less, the big blind called, covering both players and under the gun folded.
Leone showed 87, good for top two pair, the big blind was on a flush draw with AJ and Brown was in the lead with 44.
The turn was the Q and the river was the 6. Brown’s set held up to send Leone to the rebuy cage, leave the big blind very short and nearly triple up in the process.
Chad Brown – 75,000
