Outkicked out of $2 million leads to the end of the Partypoker.com Million IV

Never underestimate the importance of your kicker. Michael and David are $1.2 million into the pot preflop. We see the flop come 10-8-5. David bets and Michael calls. Turn is 6 and both players bet the minimum. The river is the 8. David bets and is called. His A-7 is outkicked by Gracz's A-9. This leaves Minto with only $40,000 so it's showdown poker for the last hand of the Partypoker.com Million IV as David cannot cover the blinds. Michael turns over J-2 suited and David has 10-5. The flop is J-J-5. Michael has flopped a set of Js and this holds up to bring Michael "The Kid" Gracz $1.5 million dollars and the Partypoker.com Million IV championship title.

Big hands heads up

Michael raises preflop and David re-raises. We have $960,000 in the pot preflop. Flop is A-Q-J rainbow. Both players bet $160,000. Turn is 4d. David bets $320,000. River is Ad. David bets and Michael re-rasises David all in for his remaining $640,000. David doubles up with the diamond flush.

On a J-8-6 flop David bets and Michael raises. Turn is 2d. Michael checks. David bets $320,000. Michael re-raises to $640,000. David calls. River is the Kh. Michael bets $320,000 and David calls. Michael has flopped two pair with his J-8 and takes down a huge pot.

David Minto now has $1,750,000 and Michael "The Kid" Gracz has about $6.5 million.

Final Table is down to heads up action

We are now down to two players. Mathew Cherachal was on short stack and getting bullied left and right by our chip leader Michael "The Kid" Gracz's aggressive pre-flop raises. Mathew finally got a hand and was all in pre-flop with A-Q. Michael called with his 9-8. The flop comes K-5-5, keeping Mathew in the lead. The turn came 4 and the river is a beauty for Gracz, the 9. The winning pair of 9s locks up at least $1 million for Gracz. He is now in commanding chip position with $5.6 million going into head up action against David Minto.

Down to the final three

We are down to the final three players. Here are chip counts:

$1,700,000 David Minto

$1,500,000 Mathew Cherachal

$4,300,000 Michael "The Kid" Gracz

Adam Csallany- out in 4th place

Adam is all in in the big blind with K-5 and he is against David Minto's A-3. David hits a pair of aces on the turn and Adam is knocked out in fourth place. Adam had quite a run but his agressive play was capped when he was check raised out of some big hands in late final table action. We are now down to three players.

We just had a series of million dollar hands. Michael raises and Adam re-raises preflop. Both are in for $300,000. The flop is Q-10-9. Michael checks. Adam makes it $100,000. Michael raises and Adam re-raises. The turn is a ace. Adam bets $200,000 and Michael re-raises it to $400,000. Adam contemplates for a long while and drops his cards. Michael takes down the first pot of the night in excess of a million dollars.

here is a bigger million dollar hand. We see a Q-9-9 flop heads up between Adam and Mathew. It gets check raised by Adam. Michael calls. The turn is a 5. Adam bets $200,000 and Mathew re-raises it $400,000. Adam calls and we have the pot of the night so far. The river is the 8. Adam checks and Mathew bets $200,000. Adam calls. Mathew shows K-Q and takes down the biggest hand of the night.

Here is a bigger, bigger million dollar hand that gets up to $1.8 million! On a Q-Ac-9c-10-9 board Michael and Mathew throw raise, check raise all the way to the river. Mathew, with A-Q, flopped two pair. However, Michel hits a flush with his A-3c, now has $3.3 million in chips and is by far our chip leader.
