Bryant King Wins a Big Pot Against Daniel Negreanu

Hand 108 - Kia Mohajeri has the button in seat 8, Negreanu raises to $45,000 from the small blind, and King calls from the big blind. The flop comes Jc-5c-3s, Negreanu bets $60,000, King raises to $140,000, and Negreanu quickly calls. The turn card is the 6d, Negreanu checks, King bets $100,000, and Negreanu calls. The river card is the Ah, and both players check. King shows Q-J (pair of jacks), and Negreanu mucks. Bryant King wins the pot.
 

Kia Mohajeri Doubles Through Daniel Negreanu

Hand 107 - Bryant King has the button in seat 6, Mohajeri moves all in for $63,000 from the small blind, and Negreanu calls with Ks-2c. Mohajeri shows Qc-7c, and he'll need to improve to stay alive. (Bryant King says he folded Q-2, stealing an out from each of them.)

The flop comes As-Ah-Jh, and Negreanu is still in the lead. The turn card is the 2d, giving Negreanu a pair. Mohajeri still needs a queen or a seven to stay alive. The river card is -- the 7s! Kia Mohajeri makes a pair of sevens on the river to stay alive and double up.

 

Bryant King Doubles Through Kia Mohajeri

Hand 106 - Daniel Negreanu has the button in seat 2, King limps from the small blind, Mohajeri raises, and King reraises $120,000 more. Mohajeri studies for a minute or two before moving all in, and King instantly calls all in for $227,000 with pocket kings (Kh-Ks). Mohajeri shows Ac-Js, and he'll need to improve to win the hand.

The flop comes 10h-5s-5h, and Mohajeri needs an ace or running jacks. The turn card is the Jd, and Mohajeri has five outs to win (any jack, any ace). The river card is the 2d, and Bryant King's hold up to double him up through Kia Mohajeri.

 

Hand 103 - Daniel Negreanu has the button in seat 2, Negreanu raises to $40,000, and King moves all in from the small blind. Negreanu waits to find out how much more he has to call, and says he'll call if he gets the right price. It's another $208,000 to Negreanu, and he decides to fold. Bryant King takes the pot.

Hand 104 - Bryant King has the button in seat 6, Mohajeri limps for $16,000 from the small blind, Negreanu raises to $56,000, and Mohajeri calls. The flop comes Jd-9s-2d, and both players check. The turn card pairs the board with the 2s, and they check again. The river card is the 9c, and they check again. Both players show an ace to chop the pot with two pair on the board. (One player has A-Q, and the other has A-7, but it's not announced who has what.)

Hand 105 - Kia Mohajeri has the button in seat 8, and Negreanu raises to $45,000, winning the blinds and antes.

The turn card is the 3h, and they check again. The river card is the 8d, and they check again. Mohajeri shows A-9 (ace high) and King mucks. Kia Mohajeri wins the pot.

 

Daniel Negreanu Takes a Big Pot from Bryant King

Hand 100 - Daniel Negreanu has the button in seat 2, he raises to $40,000, King reraises to $240,000, and Negreanu calls. The flop comes Qh-4d-3c, King bets $200,000, and Negreanu asks how much he has left. (King has $504,000 behind.) Negreanu says, "I'm gonna raise," and he puts King all in for $504,000. Now King stops to think, wondering what he got himself into.

King thinks for a few minutes before folding A-K. Negreanu shows pocket sixes as he collects the pot. The crowd cheers as Daniel Negreanu picks up even more chips.

 

Hand 96 - Kia Mohajeri has the button in seat 8, Negreanu raises to $45,000, King reraises to $270,000, and Negreanu folds. King shows A-K as he collects the pot.

Hand 97 - Daniel Negreanu has the button in seat 2, and King raises to $78,000, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand 98 - Bryant King has the button in seat 6, and everyone folds to Negreanu in the big blind, giving him the blinds and antes.

Hand 99 - Kia Mohajeri has the button in seat 8, and everyone limps to see a flop of Jc-10d-4c, Negreanu checks, King bets $45,000, and the other players fold. Bryant King takes the pot.

 

Hand 94 - Daniel Negreanu has the button in seat 2, Negreanu raises to $40,000, King calls from the small blind, and Mohajeri calls from the big blind. The flop comes 10c-9c-4s, King checks, Mohajeri checks, and Negreanu checks as well. The turn card is the 9s, King checks, Mohajeri bets $70,000, Negreanu raises to $190,000, King folds, and Mohajeri studies Daniel as he considers the situation for a few minutes. Mohajeri counts out $120,000 in chips, thinks a bit more, and then folds. Daniel Negreanu picks up the pot.

Hand 95 - Bryant King has the button in seat 6, Mohajeri limps for $16,000 from the small blind, and Negreanu checks his option. The flop comes Kd-Jc-9d, and both players check. The turn card is the Jc, and they check again. The river card is the 5d, and they check again. Mohajeri shows seven high, and Negreanu shows ten high to win the pot.

After the hand, Bryant King says he folded 4-2 -- Negreanu had the best hand all around.

The flop comes 4h-3h-2d, King checks, Mohajeri bets $30,000, and King calls. The turn card is the 10c, King checks, Mohajeri bets $50,000, and King calls. The river card is the 8h, and both players check. King shows K-3 (pair of threes), and Mohajeri mucks. Bryant King wins the pot.
