Tim BullardThough he got a bit lucky at times, Tim Bullard, a Houston, Texas resident, proved that he has what it takes to take down a big tournament stacked with professionals.

Bullard adds $256,350 to his lifetime winnings. Not bad for a guy who only had four cashes heading into this event. Congratulations Tim!

Mark Teltscher Eliminated in 2nd Place ($158,710)

Mark TeltscherTim Bullard limps on the button and Mark Teltscher raises 50,000 more from the big blind. Bullard then makes it 150,000.

Teltscher thinks for a bit before moving all in for about 480,000. Bullard calls with KJ but is dominated by Teltscher's AK.

The flop comes Q94 and Bullard picks up more outs with a gutshot straight draw. The turn is the 3 and Teltscher needs to void a ten or a jack to double up.

The river is the ... J! Bullard takes the pot  and the tournament with his pair of jacks.

To his credit, Teltscher takes the bad beat very well and offers a sincere congratulations to his opponent.

The board runs out J9583 and Smaron is eliminated in third place.

The board comes 44287, giving Smaron a scare on the turn, but ultimately doubling him up to about 710,000. Teltscher is left with just 335,000.
