Zimmerman found himself all in after the second draw and drew one card. Gelencsner stood pat and showed a 9-7 low. Zimmerman turned over his cards to show he was drawing to an 8-6 low. Unfortunately for him, he drew another six, pairing his hand and he was eliminated.

David Chiu headlines a final eight players who come back to the Rio at 4 p.m. today to finish play in event no. 7 ($2,500 2-7 triple draw lowball). With eight players left, David Chiu is the chip leader with 436,000 in chips.
Chiu, who already has four WSOP bracelets to his name has a sizeable chip advantage over most of the field since the chip average is 273,250. When the eight players get under way at 4 p.m., the blinds will be 3,000-6,000 with limits of 6,000-12,000.
They will start the tournament with two tables of four and the final table will be set when they reach six. Everybody is guaranteed a payday of at least $17,903 and the top spot is $180,730. Here are a look at the chip counts of the final eight players.
