Jeff Rossiter raised to 180,000 preflop from the button and David Gorr reraised to 550,000. The flop fell QClub Suit JHeart Suit 5Heart Suit and both players checked. The turn delivered the 3Heart Suit and Gorr checked. Rossiter bet 720,000 and Rossiter check-raised to 1.72 million. Rossiter made the call.

The river fell 5Diamond Suit and Gorr moved all in, which forced Rossiter to call all in for the last of his chips. Gorr flipped over AHeart Suit QHeart Suit. Rossiter mucked his cards and he was eliminated in third place, taking home $700,000 AUD in prize money. There was a short pause in play after that to rearrange the final-table stage for heads-up play.
