The Fifth Annual Five-Diamond World Poker Classic kicked off yesterday with its first preliminary event – the $1,500 no-limit hold’em.

There were 540 entries, creating a total prizepool of $785,700.

50 players would cash, with places 31-50 receiving $3,080, 21-30 taking home $4,560, 16-20 earning $6,080, and 15th place bubbling the second day with $7,600.
