Slow Going The pace of the tournament has been extremely slow and you can see it on the faces of the people here. Most of the spectators have givin up standing, and have stolen chairs from neighboring tables. All the staff look board, and event the players are making this look like a grind. Dario Alioto Eliminated 6th ($33,759) Alioto raises the pot from the cutoff and is called by David Bach from the big blind. The flop comes J106, and Bach bets the pot with KK53. Alioto tanks then calls for his tournament life with QQ103 and the next two cards come 59. Alioto can't improve and is eliminated in 6th place.

Blinds Raised The blinds have been raised to $10,000-$20,000.
Can't Lose A Man Short stacks have been double up like crazy, and it doesn't seem like anyone can bust at this point.

Mark Wilds Eliminated 8th ($18,775) Action is folded to Wilds who pushes all in for his last $22,000. Dario Alioto goes all in right behind him for his last $48,000. No one else calls, and Wilds shows A975. Alioto tables AJJ4 and the board comes J32KQ, Alioto wins the pot and sends Wilds hom in eight place.
Thomas Hant Eliminated 7th ($25,319) Gene Timberlake raises to $40,000 from under the gun and Hant pushes in his last $49,000 with AKK5. Timberlake makes the call and tables AA103. The board comes 101059Q, shipping Timberlake the pot and eliminating Hant.
George Danzer Eliminated 9th ($13,597) Danzer moves all in for his last $7,000 from the cutoff and Thomas Hunt raises the pot from the button, Everyone else folds and Danzer shows AAQ7 and Hunt A345. The board comes A827Q and Hunt takes the high and the low eliminating Danzer in 9th place.
Restart Area Craziness The restart area in which the final table is being held is a mass of humanity. The seniors event, limit hold'em and PLO are all going on at the same time. Floor staff are running around trying to supervise all the events and All and all they is doing a good job of keeping things running.
Tight Play After an early flurry of action play as slow significantly. We still have eight players, and the have no intentions of going anywhere in the near future.
