Mike Mizrachi Wins $2,000 Event ($117,056)

Mike Mizrachi has emerged victorious in the Mirage Poker Showdown $2,000 event.  On the final hand Mizrachi moves all in on the button with AQ and Alex Prendes calls with JJ.  The board comes AK53Q eliminating Prendes in 2nd place for $58,528. 

Mike Mizrachi takes down $117,056, the championship trophy and a seat into the $10,000 buy in World Poker Tour main event.

Mike Mizrachi Wins Nice Pot

Alex Prendes raises to $25,000 on the button and Mike Mizrachi calls.  The flop comes A45, Mizrachi checks and Prendes bets $35,000.  Mizrachi calls, the turn is the K and both players check.  The river is the 2 and Mizrachi bets $150,000.  Prendes goes into the tank and finally calls.  Mizrachi tables 37 for the straight and Prendes mucks.

Nam Lee moves all in for his last $100,000 from the small blind and Mike Mizrachi calls from the big with 33.  Le tables A8 and the cards come 7753A.  Mizrachi's full house knocks out Le in 3rd for $29,264.
 

Scott Zakheim Eliminated 4th ($17,558)

Scott Zakheim goes all in from the small blind for his last $50,000 with 98 and is called by Mike Mizrachi with 45.  The board comes K74J6, Mizrachi makes his backdoor flush and Zakheim collects a $17,558 payday for 4th place.
 

Mike Mizrachi Doubles Up

Mike Mizrachi moves all in under the gun for his last $103,000 and is called by Scott Zakheim from the big blind with A4.  Mizrachi shows 97 and the board comes K6649.  Mizrachi doubles to over $200,000 and Zakheim is knocked down to $50,000.
 

Alex Prendes Doubles Up In Huge Pot

Alex Prendes raises to $30,000 under the gun and Nam Le calls from the button.  Mike Mizrachi goes all in from the big blind and Prendes calls for his last $160,000.  Le folds, Prendes shows AK and Mizrachi AJ.  The board comes 77329 and Prendes wins a huge pot.  He now has over $410,000 in chips while Mizrachi has been knocked down to $115,000
 

Scott Zakheim Doubles Up

Mike Mizrachi raises to $30,000 under the gun and Scott Zakheim goes all in for his last $53,000 from the big blind.  Grinder calls with Q2 and Zakheim shows A8.  The board comes A10296 and Zakheim doubles to $160,000.
 

Alex Prendes Doubles Up

Mike Mizrachi moves all in from the small blind with K8 and is called by Alex Prendes with AQ from the big blind.  The board comes 7435Q and Prendes doubles up to almost $200,000 chips.
