David Williams Wins!

In the final hand the two players got all-in on a flop of K K 5.  Williams showed the K T and Dicken flipped up the A 8.  The turn came Q and the river was the 2 giving david Williams the pot and the win.

David Williams win the Bellagio Cup III Event #4 $5,000 No Limit Hold ‘Em tournament.  He receives a 1st place prize of
$129,120, a gold bracelet and a $25,000 seat in the WPT Championship in April.

David Dicken finishes in 2nd place earning $70,015 for his efforts.

Tomorrow the Bellagio is hosting a $5,000 No Limit Hold ‘Em tournament that will begin at 2 p.m.

Williams Takes An Early Lead

After taking down a few pots without show down, David Willaims is off to an early lead in heads-up play.  He now has a 2-1 chip advantage over David Dicken.

Wayne Boich Places 3rd

Wayne Boich moved all-in from the button and was called by David Dicken in the big blind.  Wayne showed Q T but David tunred over A 4 for the early lead.  the flop of Q 8 6 gave the lead to Wayne but the turn put out the A giving David the lead again but also opening up many draws for Wayne.  The turn came a blank 3 giving David the pot and Wayne 3rd place.

Wayne Boich finishes in 3rd place and collects the $36,405 prize.

Heads up play between David Williams and David Dicken has begun.  They are both virtually even in chips.

Robert Zoellner Finishes 4th

Robert Zoellner moved all-in with J T and was called by David Dicken who turned over A 9. The board came K Q 8 Q 5 sending Robert home in 4th place.

John Gale Takes 5th

Action is fast today as we had back to back bustouts.  After Ted Lawson was eliminated, John Gale got all-in with 3-3 against David Dicken's 5-5.  David's hand held up and sent John Gale to the rail.

Ted Lawson Finishes in 6th

David Williams made a raise to $9,000 from late position.  Ted Lawson moved all-in for about $65,000 total.  David made the call and both players turned up their hands.  David showed T T and Ted flipped up A Q.  The board came 6 8 3 3 7 sending Ted home and putting Williams second in chips.

Roland DeWolfe Finishes 8th

Action folded around to John Gale in the small blind who made a raise of $3,000.  Roland DeWolfe re-raised all-in out of the big blind for $30,000 total.  John Gale made the call and was ahead with A 9 against Roland's K T.  The board came 9 7 4 A 9 and John's hand held up adding to his chip stack and eliminating Roland from play.

David Williams came into the final table as chip leader.  He continues to build his stack and is playing very aggressively.

Mikael Thuritz moved all-in from late position with 2 2 and was called by Roland DeWolfe on the button who held K Q.  The baord came 8 8 8 K 2 and Mikael Thuritz is eliminated in 9th place for $5,600.

John Gale's Double Double!

Early on in today's play we have already seen some action.  On hand #4 John Gale moved all-in over a raise by Mikael Thuritz.  Mikael made the call and showed A6 and John flipped up 99.  John's ahnd held up after a board of A 9 3 6 5.  Just two hands later John moved in again and this time was called by David Williams with 4-4.  Gale turned up 7-7 and held up to increase his stack to $100,000.
