C.T. Law finishes second once again and has to settle for $47,290.

Paul Testud Doubles Up; Cripples C.T. Law

Paul Testud is all in for $130,000 with A K.   C.T. Law decides to gamble and calls with K J.  The board comes 10 8 5 2 J and Testud takes a commanding chip lead.

James Denbow Eliminated 3rd Place ($24,590)

Paul Testud raises to $28,000 and James Denbow comes over the top for just a few more chips.  Testud makes the call with Q J and is behid to Denbow's A K.  The board comes 9 7 4 10 8, and Testud makes a Queen high straight to eliminate Denbow.

Small Pot Poker

As he's done for most of the final table, C.T. Law is playing small pot poker.  He is currently grinding down his opponent's chips slowly with a series of limps and checks before taking it away on the river.

Level Up

The blinds are going up to $3,000/$6,000 with a $1,000 ante.

Chip Counts

The chip count tab has been updated for the final three players.

Ben Battle Eliminated 4th Place ($13,235)

C.T. Law limps in the small blind and Ben Battle moves all in from the big blind for $71,000.  Law thinks for three minutes before finally deciding to make a stand.  He calls and confidently turns over A 9.  Battle shows K Q and is behind.  The board comes 9 6 4 6 5 and Battle is our Fourth place finisher.

A Slowed Pace

Play has almost come to a grinding halt.  The remaining four players are trading extremely light blows, raising once an orbit passively and liberally not defending their blinds at all.  Strangely, the players chip counts have barely fluctuated at all in the last 5 orbits.  The table has become lifeless and the players look a little tired.

Chip Counts

The chip counts tab has been updated.

C.T. Law Doubles Up

C.T. Law is all in against Ben Battle.  Battle has A-10 and Law shows A-K.  The board comes Q-5-4-A-8 and Law doubles up.
