Art Duncan Wins Event #22 ($145,805)

Art Duncan raises to $32,000 and Peter Nifakos raises all in.  Both player's stacks are similar and deep so it's a tough decision for Duncan.  Duncan decides to make the call, showing pocket Deuces.  Nifakos shows A-J and we're racing.  The board comes 9-8-8-Q-4, and Nifakos is left with only $45,000 in chips. 

Shortly after, Nifakos shoves his remaining chips in the pot with 7-2 offsuit.  Duncan calls with 9-8 and the board comes Q-10-3-8-4, giving Duncan the bracelet, $145,805 and the $25,000 seat into the WPT Championship.  For his second place finish, Nifakos will take home $71,535. 
 

Mickey Wernick Eliminated in 3rd Place ($35,765)

On a flop of Q J 6 2, Mickey Wernick moves all in and Art Duncan makes the call showing A A.  Wernick shows Q 8.  The river is the 9 and Wernick is our third place finisher.

The blinds have been raised to $6,000-$12,000 with a $2,000 ante. 
 

Pat Madden Eliminated in 4th Place ($19,530)

Pat Madden gets it all in against Art Duncan.  Madden shows K J and Duncan shows A A.  The board came 10 8 2 K 3, and Madden is our fourth place finisher.

On a flop of J 4 3, Christopher Andler moves in for $42,500.  Peter  Nifakos goes into the tank and decides to call.  Andler shows Q J and Nifakos shows Q 8.  The turn and the river come 4 10, and Andler is our sixth place finisher.
