After 3 hours of heads up play it is finally over. Denis Ethier had two pair, but trailed Chad Brown's two pair. Ethier hit a 5 on the river to improve to a full house, fives full of two's. Now, Brown needed a 8, to make a bigger full house. Brown could also split the pot with any card under an 8. The cash card though was a jack, and Ethier wins the gold bracelet. Brown earns $89,838 for second, but Ethier gets $160,682 and a bracelet for first.
