Jerri Thomas Eliminated in 5th Place ($58,650)

Jerri Thomas raises the pot to $42,000. Osborne is quick to reraise her all-in for her last $8,000. Thomas shows Ac-8c while Osborne shows Ad-10d. The board provides no pair for either player, and Thomas is eliminated in 5th place. Chip counts to come.

Richard Osborne Doubles Up through Phil Laak

Osbourne goes all-in preflop for his last $28,000. Phil Laak calculates some pot odds out loud:

"28 for 58." [The amount in the pot] "I think I'm 40% to win this hand."

He calls, and shows Kd-Qc, while Osborne shows Ah-10h, and is indeed 40%. The flop comes As-9h-6h, knocking Phil down to about 2%. When the turn brings another Ace, Phil is drawing dead, and Osborne stays alive, yet again.

Updated Chip Counts

Here are the updated chip counts for the five remaining players:
1. Jerri Thomas - $90,000
3. Richard Osborne - $60,000
4. Johnny Chan - $240,000
6. Frank Kassela - $376,000
9. Phil Laak - $296,000

Tony Hartmann Eliminated in 6th Place ($48,175)

Hartmann raises to $18,000 pre-flop. Phil Laak smooth calls him. The flop comes Kc-10c-6h. Laak checks. Hartmann goes all-in. Laak quickly calls and reveals pocket tens for a set. Hartmann shows Queens. The turn is the Ks, and the river is the 2d. Laak eliminates Hartmann.

Richard Osborne Doubles Up

All-in preflop with pocket deuces, he's called by Johnny Chan with Kc-10C. Both a deuce and a King flop. The turn and river are 7c-9c, and Osborne stays alive yet again.

Richard Harrich Eliminated in 7th Place ($39,100)

Johnny Chan makes it $35,000 to go, putting Harrich all-in if he decides to call. He does. Harrich shows A-J against Chan's pocket 4's. The flop comes Jh-8s-5c putting Harrich way ahead. The turn brings the 7s, and while Harrich still leads, Chan picks up four extra outs, drawing to an inside straight. The river brings that inside straight with the 6c, and Richard Harrich is eliminated.
