Las Vegas, NV-Card Player Media is pleased to announce a marketing relationship with video game giant, Activision. The company’s latest venture into the poker video game market with its World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions, will feature Card Player magazine as an in-game event sponsor and players will have the chance to play against Card Player publishers, Barry and Jeff ‘Happy’ Shulman as well as the game’s primary stars, Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson and Men ‘The Master’ Ngyuen.
WSOP players will find Card Player throughout the game. Card Player logos and banners will be in the background of the game’s tournaments, player’s characters can sport Card Player gear, and player’s pictures will appear on the computerized cover of Card Player magazine when they win a tournament.
Card Player is also the sponsor for the in-game poker tutorials narrated by WSOP main event champion, Chris Ferguson. Here players can find a wealth of poker tips and table tactics.
