Big Bass is fast becoming the new global dominant slots theme at online casinos, taking over perhaps from Fluffy Favourites! Big Bass Xmas Xtreme is the latest festive release of this popular series of titles from Reel Kingdom that began with Big Bass Splash in 2022.
Naturally, with Christmas lurking just around the corner, the lakes are chillier than normal, but those big bass are still splashing around, waiting to be ‘reeled’ in. During normal play, this November 2024 release from Reel Kingdom (part of Pragmatic Play) has five reels, three rows, ten paylines and a 95.08% RTP that’s sure to get you ho-ho-hoing like Santa himself.
Backed with a festive soundtrack that should have you tapping your toes, the gameplay with this slot is as entertaining as you’d expect from any of Reel Kingdom’s 23 (!) ‘Big Bass’ titles. On the surface (but not of the lake), this is a simple 5×3 video slot, but there are plenty of extra features for you to dip your toes into.
Watch for the little fishies with the cash amounts, as when a Fisherman wild symbol appears, he’ll hook them in and add the cash to your casino balance. Also, look out for the bonus round, where you can win free spins complete with your choice from four available modifiers, including bonus free spins and guaranteed fishermen wilds.

Let’s now take you through five more slots that we think you will really enjoy. All these new slots online have been released in the past month or so.
Slingshot Studios is one of the independent studios that was previously owned by Microgaming but now falls under Games Global’s slotting umbrella. Links of Flame is the 20th slot title released by this studio that’s probably most well known for ‘Lucky Twins’. It’s also another title in GG’s ‘Ultra Link & Win’ series, although, on the surface, it’s a traditional-looking slot with five reels and four rows, boasting 40 possible pay lines.
The symbols used should be familiar to all slots players, and include playing card symbols, cherries, dice, Luckys 7s and bars.
The game features four jackpots – Mini, Minor, Major and Grand – but they are not progressive and are set to £15, £50, £500 and £5,000 respectively. The two most interesting features of this game are ‘Power Stacks’, where the game will stack reels with normal (i.e. not scatters, wilds or jackpot) symbols, and ‘Ultra Link & Win’.
Landing a minimum of six coin symbols will trigger the latter feature, allowing you to select a tasty bonus – a persistent 2x multiplier, three extra rows or persistent cash collector booster coins. We feel this game will appeal to players who enjoy traditional slots with easy-to-understand features and simple gameplay.

Ah, good old Playtech. This company has been banging out slots since 1999, and while they don’t dominate like they used to (they have dozens of competitors now, of course) people still look forward to Playtech’s next release, and especially their annual Christmas slot.
‘Tree Wishes’ is their gift to the slotting community this festive season, and it’s as welcome a Christmas arrival as Santa himself! This simple, almost retro-looking game is ‘present-ly’ one of our favourite new slots UK players can take for a spin as they’re digesting that yuletide turkey, or at any time, really!
This slot has five reels and three rows filled with playing card symbols and festive-themed symbols such as gingerbread men, Santa hats and jars of sweety goodness. There are Santa’s sleigh symbols, too, that double as stacked wilds, but the main symbols to look out for are scattered golden stars.
Each golden star contains a number, and you need to land five of them to trigger the ‘Star Drop’ feature. The numbers on the stars are totalled up and this is the number of baubles that’ll drop during the feature. A number of pressies will pop open under the Xmas tree with a multiplier or cash amount attached to each. The baubles will cascade down the tree, and (hopefully) some will land in the present boxes, adding cash amounts to your total, multiplied by any multipliers that you land too!

There’s gold in them thar hills! Or at least there is in this odd-looking slot from Just For The Win. This prospecting-themed slot has five reels, but they are arranged in a 3-4-5-6-7 pattern, making for an impressive 2,520 paylines!
This high variance slot has a maximum win value of 5,000 times your stake and a very nice RTP of 96.01%. This is JFTW’s fortieth slot release, and we think it’s one of their best online slots, rivalling the Adventures of Captain Black, Firebird Fortunes and Dark Waters Power Combo.
Like many slots these days, Nuggest Frenzy has multi-tiered jackpots, but they are not progressive. Instead, they are fixed at £75, £250, £1,000 and £5,000. You can win these top prizes via the slot’s Cash Collect and Free Spins features.
Landing three or more free spins symbols will award you six free spins, and free spins will add a stick of dynamite atop each row. When you run out of free spins, the dynamite will explode, revealing a Cash Collect multiplier or, if you’re lucky, a jackpot symbol that will add the indicated jackpot to your slot winnings. It’s an explosive slot from JFTW that, hopefully, you’ll have a golden time while playing.

We kind of admire any slot that doesn’t give anything away with its slotting title! There’s definitely an air of mystery about this slot from ELK Studios, but it’s a mystery we’re about to blow the clouds away from. This highly impressive slot begins with an animation in which the legend of Ryze is introduced … although it’s a made-up tongue, so you don’t learn much.
Ryze seems to be some kind of snake/dragon hybrid who loves gold. Correction – Ryze really loves gold, and we think you will love this ‘cluster pays’ slot. The game’s grid has a hexagon pattern in a 6-5-6-5-6-5 arrangement. It offers a max win of 10,000 your stake but a low-ish RTP of only 94%.
Paying clusters must consist of at least five matching symbols, all touching. Once won, the clusters will vanish, leaving behind a wild multiplier and allowing new symbols to cascade down. Each consecutive cascade win increases the values of the multipliers.
Fiery symbols will cause Ryze to spew fire at the screen, turning several symbols into the same symbol to guarantee a win. Ryze may also randomly increase the value of multipliers. Key symbols may also appear after a win, and if they reach the bottom of the screen, they trigger free spins. Free spins work in much the same way as normal spins, except that any multipliers generated do not vanish until the free spins have been completed.

Blueprint Gaming, along with Merkur, are one of the few new slots games UK providers whose games you can play in the real world as well as online. Their latest release is Spirit Wolf Wins, which should have you howling with joy and not at the moon in despair. It has the traditional video slots set up of five reels and three rows and a reasonable RTP of 95.04%. There are fifty pay lines in this medium-variance slot and a maximum win value of 2,500 times the size of your stake.
The symbols are low-paying playing card symbols paired with higher-paying animal (wolves, cougars, bears and eagles) symbols. We are making this low/high differential as during bonus rounds on this slot, all low-playing symbols are temporarily removed from the game.
Three Dreamcatcher bonus scatters will award you ten bonus spins, during which ALL cash symbols generate money. On all spins, four or more cash symbols will trigger the cash feature. Here, you are awarded three free spins, but should a new cash symbol appear during those spins, your number of free spins is reset back to three. Look out, too, for wilds which combine with all symbols to potentially trigger wins.

New casino slots are released week in and week out. But why play new UK slots instead of old favourites? We’ve selected a few reasons as to why you might want to at least give new online slots casino games a go.
Online slots developers are always looking for new themes to develop in the hope of coming up with the next big thing, such as Fluffy Favourites and Big Bass Bonanza. By playing new slots at the best new slots sites, you could uncover the next big theme, and by playing the slot, you’ll be encouraging developers to add new slots to the same theme.
In the UK we became accustomed to one-armed bandits – the kind familiar to us all from trips to the seaside. Online, there are many different formats, such as video slots, cluster pays slots, Megaways slots, expanding reels and so on. By playing new slots games, you might uncover a brand new format that will really appeal to you.
Pre-internet slots were just about landing identical symbols on the single pay line. Video slots have added plenty of innovative features, such as wild symbols, scatter symbols, bonus games, expanding symbols, all-ways pay, both ways pay, cascading reels, and vanishing clusters … it’s an extensive list of variety. In order to stand out, developers are trying to add new and innovative features to their games, which you can discover if you play new casino slots.
Computer processing power and internet speeds seem to continually improve. Once a slot is released, companies seldom go back to enhance them to take advantage of technological improvements. Therefore it’s likely that the newest slots at the best new slots sites will be the ones with the best visuals, with cutting-edge animations and smooth, hi-res graphics.
When online casinos went mobile, most slots had previously been created using Adobe Flash, so they did not port well to mobile devices, forcing them to be hastily converted to HTML5. No slot using Adobe Flash will work at all on mobile devices now, and converted HTML5 slots hardly give the best experience when playing on your phone or tablet. You won’t have this problem with new slots in 2024 as they are guaranteed to work on all iPhones, iPads and Android tablets.
Let’s now go through some familiar names you will soon become accustomed to when playing new UK slots. These are the best slots providers in the business, so always look out for their games at any new online slots casino you happen to come across.
Founded in 2007 as Topgame Technology, eight lacklustre years followed until they were bought by a group of investors and renamed Pragmatic Play in 2015. Now regarded as one of the leading lights in the casino software industry, Pragmatic Play are second-only to Evolution in terms of live casinos and release countless superb slots via their slotting offshoot, Reel Kingdom.
Big Bass Bonanza, Wolf Gold, Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, Sugar Rush, The Dog House.
Created in 1997, Play’n GO didn’t make much headway until 2011, when it became one of the first software developers to concentrate on mobile slots. Their 2020 gimmick of releasing a new slot game every week for the entire year was an amazing success, and this Sweden-based company continues to release excellent new slots games.
Book of Dead, Reactoonz, Moon Princess, Fire Joker, Rise of Olympus, The Sword & the Grail Excalibur.
For nine years, NetEnt ruled the slotting sphere like no one before. The ground-shaking release of Gonzo’s Quest in 2011 completely shook up the industry, and they followed this up with Starburst two years later. Alas, NetEnt are not the giants they once were, and they were purchased by (then) Evolution Gaming in 2020.
Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, Finn’s Swirly Spin, Blood Suckers II, Dead or Alive, Twin $pin.
Microgaming began developing casino software in 1994 and announced in 2024 that it was going back to its roots, selling its gaming catalogue and software platform Quickfire to Games Global and rebranding as ‘Apricot’. Microgaming’s slots, especially its progressive jackpot slots such as Mega Moolah and Major Millions, will remain at online casinos, though.
Immortal Romance, Mega Moolah, Break da Bank Again, Lucky Leprechaun, Thunderstruck II, Jungle Jim El Dorado.
Despite having a name drawn from Norse mythology, Yggdrasil are based in Malta. They are a software company that doesn’t make a huge song and dance when they release a slot – they simply concentrate on releasing high-quality slot after high-quality slot. They are most famed for the ‘Vikings’ series where the Vikings seem to grow angrier with every new UK slots release.
Valley of the Gods, Golden Fish Tank Party, Vikings Go Berzerk, Neon Villains Doublemax, Giganimals Gigablox, E-Force.
Not many software companies have seen such an instant rise to the top as Red Tiger. Founded in 2014 by industry veterans, the release of cutting-edge titles such as Primate King and Case Closed thrilled all slots players. In 2019, they were purchased by NetEnt and became part of the Evolution Group with NetEnt a year later.
Primate King, London Tube, Buffalo Collector, Case Closed, Judgement Day, Gems Inferno.
We’ve now told you everything you need to know about new online slots in the UK. You know now about the best new online slots that have been released over the past few weeks, which software providers consistently release the top new casino slots, and why – we think – you should be on the constant lookout for new slot games. Happy slotting!
You can play slots at any online casino that accepts players from the UK, and also at sports betting sites, bingo sites and even poker sites.
We’ve listed some of the best new online slots casino games released over the past few weeks, but other new UK slots that have been released over the past few months that have been instant classics include Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe by Reel Kingdom, Inferno Fortunes Rising Rewards by All for One Studios, and Gates of Olympus 1000 by Pragmatic Play.
We’ve picked out six developers on this page that we feel consistently provide new online slots that are a cut above. Other names worth mentioning include Gameburger Studios, Eyecon, Fortune Factory, Triple Edge Studios and Gaming Realms.
Yes, new mobile slots are released constantly for phones and tablets, but all online slots – even ones over a decade old – should work perfectly on all mobile devices.
