BetOnline has a good reputation when it comes to its sports variety and there’s a large selection of professional, college, and international events. These include football betting, basketball, ice hockey, motor racing, UFC betting, and more. There are lots of markets available on each of the nearly 30 sports you can wager on.
Odds are pretty competitive with moneylines released early and ahead of many of its competitors. You also get a good choice of promos with some contests that have big prize pools.
BetOnline also has a solid range of payment options, so you’re sorted if you use cryptocurrencies, wire transfer, money order, and debit cards. Many of these are quite common, but what sets BetOnline apart is that it offers lots of crypto betting options. And yes, some of those offer instant payouts.

With its large selection of sports and markets to bet on BetOnline covers all the bases. The live betting section lets it down slightly and you can’t watch the events live either.
But, overall BetOnline offers a great betting experience with excellent customer service and fast payouts via crypto.
BetWhale’s welcome offer makes a splash – it’s one of the best promotions you’re likely to find. It’s got a reasonable wagering requirement of just 10x which beats most other sign offers.
There’s a decent selection of sports and markets to bet on and I found the odds to be slightly better than industry averages. There’s a fantastic esports section too if you like competitive gaming.
The in-play betting section is very good and you can watch some events live. While I didn’t find many events to watch, the live sports offering is definitely better than many other sites.
There aren’t a lot of banking options but there is a good mix between traditional options like Visa and Mastercard, a few eWallets, as well as some cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin.

BetWhale doesn’t have many faults and I genuinely struggled to list cons for this VA sportsbook. It’s a well-rounded site with a good live betting section and excellent esports coverage.
Bovada has around 20 different sports to bet on. I was particularly happy with the NBA section as there were lots of markets to bet on, as well as quite a few enhanced odds on games and futures. The odds for most sports were competitive and on par with other Virginia sports betting sites.
The same can be said for the promotions available. These include deposit match offers and those odds boosts mentioned earlier. Some promos actually offer more credit if you use crypto.
There are six crypto coins accepted and the site supports fast payouts with all of these. My biggest grumble with Bovada’s banking was that I couldn’t deposit via an eWallet.
If you’re new to Bovada the sign-up process is simple and its customer service is available to answer queries via phone, email or live chat, 24/7. I even came across its agents responding to queries on a few forums which shows a great effort to provide customer care.

Bovada has a very good reputation and my experience tells me this is well deserved. Average odds and lots of markets for all sports. But like I said, customer service is where this site really excels.
The BetNow platform is simple and easy to use, with a heavy focus on making placing a bet as straightforward as possible. You could argue in doing this the developers have forgotten to add a unique design to the website, but apart from minor lag issues, things went smoothly.
You can place bets on all major sports throughout the US and they have a fantastic selection of NCAA markets too. I found the odds to be slightly better than industry averages.
If you’re new to BetNow it has a few promotions running and the best thing is you’re able to choose the bonus that fits you.
The bonus wagering requirements are on par with many other VA sportsbooks, and sometimes better. But where it really stands out is when it comes to contests. There are lots of free-to-enter contests across multiple sports all with big prize pools.
There isn’t a wide selection of banking methods you can use, but it does support fast payouts via Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.
