California’s heat wave is not limited to the gorgeous North San Diego County beaches, located within a mile of San Diego’s “Home to Poker” for the last 21 years. Ocean’s 11 Casino’s new fall slate of games and promotions is so hot that the casino added 20 tons of air conditioning just to keep the players from overheating! All kidding aside, Ocean’s 11 has pushed ALL-IN again to continue to be the best place to play in Southern California.

Tournament Heat

Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you probably already know that Ocean’s 11 has the same great tournament action you can find in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. San Diego, however, stands alone, thanks to Ocean’s 11 weekly tournament menu.

$20,000 Guaranteed Mega Saturday Deepstack Tournaments
$10,000 Guaranteed Sunday Deepstack Tournaments
$5,000 Guaranteed Friday Night Tournaments
$3,000 Guaranteed Weekday Tournaments at 10 am and 7 pm

Best of all, their Mega Saturday Deepstack prize pools average over $29,000 and their Sunday Deepstacks prize pools average over $14,000. That’s beating the guarantee by 40 percent! But if you think that Ocean’s 11 doesn’t have some bigger tournament series, you really need to crawl out from under that rock quick!

Locals have known for years about their holiday tournaments. Prize pools for their Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day tournaments average $75,000, and their smaller holiday tournaments on New Year’s Day, President’s Day, and Veteran’s Day boast prize pools over $50,000!

Just to spice things up, players earn points for every top 10 finish and compete for their share of the monthly $10,000 Top Dog Promotion. First prize is $2,000! Of course, if you don’t have time to play a tournament, Ocean’s 11 has you covered with daily sit-n-go tournaments with buy-ins up to $500.

The Card Player Poker Tour

Of course, with three stops on the tour’s season calendar, it’s the Card Player Poker Tour that really makes a splash when it rolls into town. With help from the Quantum Reload feature on day 2 of each main event, their 2018 prize pools were $264,900 in July, $223,700 in April and $190,600 in January. Thanks to its partnership with the CPPT, Ocean 11’s place on the poker landscape continues to grow.

In August, Ocean’s 11 teamed up with the Bicycle Casino for its $1 million guarantee Quantum Reload tournament, with preliminary rounds at each casino. As anticipated by both casino managers, the joint tournament was a big success with a prize pool of over $1.4 million. This tournament is sure to become a staple of the tournament circuit for years to come.

Rounding out the big tournament series action at Ocean’s 11 is the WPT Deepstack event set for its fourth-consecutive year, running from Oct. 5-15. As always, the tournament series starts with the Haig Kelegian Sr. Classic and ends with the final event weekend. Last year’s main event prize pool ballooned to $326,000!

Live Action (Because One Does Not Live On Tournaments Alone)

In addition to offering the best no-limit hold’em, Omaha, and limit action in the region, Ocean’s 11 has scored a big hit with its pot-limit Omaha eight-or-better section featuring $2-$3 stakes with a $200-$500 buy-in. Within weeks of introducing the new section, they quickly spread to multiple games every day.

Ocean’s 11 also has the fastest growing $2-$5 no-limit section with $300-$600 buy-in spreading up to three games daily.

A Look At The Promotions

Ocean’s 11 has always been the leader in giving back to its loyal players. After multiple variations of its popular Racing For Dollar promotion, it hit a grand slam with its $150,000 monthly giveaway, paying $60 for every 20 hours of play redeemed. That’s $3 an hour, every hour! There is no limit to the number of times a player can redeem.

But let’s not forget the food! Besides enjoying some of the best food service for over 20 years, players receive a free meal after only two hours of play on that day. And, unlike other clubs, the meal or its value is not deducted from its other promotions. This is truly free food!

Known for the integrity and transparency of its operations, players print their own tickets for all promotions. At Ocean’s 11, players don’t have to guess or wonder if they are getting everything they earned.

Planes, Trains, And Automobiles

This summer, Ocean’s 11 began its new Car & Cash Giveaways. In the past four months, they have posted three cars and $125,000 in cash. Players earn drawing tickets for each hour of play, each day, up to a maximum of four tickets per day. Drawings are held twice per month.

In September, they are giving away two Chevrolet Colorado trucks. (Sept. 12 and 26) Okay, well there are no plane or train giveaways… but hey, did you really think there were?

Don’t waste another day playing somewhere else without first checking out this pearl located right on the Pacific Ocean!
