With a goal of recognizing trailblazers and inspiring figures who have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and influence in the poker community, the Women in Poker Hall of Fame was established in 2008.
“The Women in Poker Hall of Fame remains a testament to the talent, resilience, and indomitable spirit of women in poker, honoring those who have left an indelible mark on the game and continue to inspire future generations.”
“In addition to honoring individual achievements, the Hall of Fame serves as a platform to raise awareness about the importance of diversity and representation in poker. It celebrates the rich history and evolving landscape of the game, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of women who have shaped and continue to shape its future.”
This December, the Women in Poker Hall of Fame will once again bolster its ranks, adding to the 25 existing members. Those members, along with a panel of media and industry members, will vote on inductees in late September.
