The PokerGO Tour was first established in April of 2021. Since then, more than $1.3 billion in prize money has been paid out in qualifying tour events. With one series down so far in the fifth PGT season, there are 266 players with a million or more in PGT earnings, and 16 who have accumulated over $10 million.
The tour’s all-time earnings leader is 2022 PGT Player of the Year Stephen Chidwick. The two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner from Deal, England has racked up nearly $14.3 million across 88 in-the-money finishes in PGT events. Of the top 10, he has the most titles won with 10. The 35-year-old poker pro leads all contenders with 88 cashes, and is tied with fourth-ranked Alex Foxen for the most final-table finishes with 63.
Chris Brewer is Chidwick’s closest competitor. The former collegiate distance runner has amassed more than $13.4 million across 76 PGT cashes, with eight qualifying titles locked up as he went. A major chunk of Brewer’s total came via one particularly massive win. In 2023 he took down the $250,000 high roller at the WSOP for nearly $5.3 million and the first of his two bracelets.
Hot on Brewer’s heels is reigning PGT Player of the Year award winner Jeremy Ausmus, who is tied with Foxen for the second-most cashes on tour with 84. The 45-year-old is just shy of $13.4 million in earnings. The six-time bracelet winner has managed 60 final-table finishes in PGT events, a total that only Chidwick and Foxen can top.
Foxen’s total earnings on this high-stakes centric tour come in at just over $13 million. He has roughly a $100k lead over fifth-ranked Jason Koon, who has roughly half as many cashes and final tables as Foxen.
While most of the players in the top 10 grinded their way there with consistent success on the high-roller circuit, Daniel Weinman largely managed the feat with a single win. Of course, that being one of the largest poker tournaments in the history of the game, the 2023 WSOP main event. Weinman banked $12.1 million of his $12.4 million total thanks to topping the 10,043-player field, which is currently the second largest in history. ♠
