Prior to his 15-year gambling industry career, Dominic studied for a Politics MA at Dundee University. There, he founded a student poker society, which he ran for three years. Although he didn't quite cut it as a player outside of the student poker scene, he continued to write poker news and strategy guides for affiliate sites, as well as playing for fun. In 2021, he decided to wrap up his operations management career and change direction. He's now a full-time iGaming writer, based on the island of Boracay in the Philippines.
